INTRODUCTION TO TECHNICAL DRAWINGS
ASSIGNMENT 2
In this assignment, we had to choose a space in our house and take the necessary measurements to produce the technical drawings of it. The furniture had to be included in the spaces, together with the doors, windows, and tiles elements. The drawing this time had to be penned out with a black ink pen. The correct line weights had to be used when inking out the drawing. The drawing dimensions, wall lines and every detail for the material used had to be added in together with the different kinds of lines like the break lines, then the elevation , section lines, and everything had to be added to accompany the elevation and sectional drawings later. This drawing was also need to be done using a scale ruler .
PROGRESS
The proposal of the space had to be introduced first, then after getting the confirmation from Mr.Akmal,I continued taking the actual measurement of the furniture, room, door and windows. After jotting the total plan on a draft butter paper I started with the drawings. Then i bought a scale ruler since this is the first assignment to use a scale ruler. The scale was also decided to be placed as 1:50 .

REFLECTION
(with TGC)
In this assignment, I learnt the main thing of technical drawing which is scale. I had a clear understanding of how the scale works and how scale drawings are created. This is a very important fact to learn and the drawings had to be pen out with black ink with line weight which was also something very new to be learnt.
The learning of material hatching, different types of lines used in drawings, and much more additional info's to create a complete scale technical drawing of a space is something very essential in architectural life and that was clearly taught by this assignment and from the help of our helpful tutor Mr.Akmal.
reflection
This assignment was a great introduction to the technical side of the drawing. It has given me a lot of trial and error experience to help me improve my lines, dimensions, and the detailing of drawing. Mainly, my skills in scales and inking drawings have been tremendously improved and my architectural letterings has also improved in my second assignment.
