BUILDING CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS
This module aims to educate students on the fundamentals of building construction and the materials employed in the construction of small to medium-sized structures. It concentrates on helping the reader grasp the fundamentals of the building components, such as the substructure, the superstructure, and common building materials like concrete, masonry, wood, metal, and glass. This lesson will outline each material's manufacturing procedure, physical characteristics, and typical applications in building.

PROJECT 01: FAMOUS ARCHITECT'S BUILDING
( ARCHITECTURAL AND STRUCTURAL)
We were given the option to select an architectural building as our case study for this project. There was a lot of analysis work that we needed to do, ranging from the architect and architectural concept to the material selections and placement on the structure. This is due to the fact that each building material has a unique purpose, look, and aesthetic appeal, and there are good reasons why certain materials were selected as building materials. To find out why the materials were chosen to match the idea, concept, and attributes of the structure, we must first identify five architectural building materials, two structural building materials, and perform an online search on the topic.
PROJECT 02: CONSTRUCTION DETAILING OF BUILDING ELEMENTS
In this project, seven team members from interior and architecture had to join as a group and will use manual drawings and research to demonstrate their comprehension of the construction specifics of building components. We are required to research, apply, document, and explain the detailing of building elements on superstructures as well as the construction process of a building based on the floor plan selected in order to better understand and comprehend the close relationship between design and technical knowledge. After deciding on a floor plan, the five of us used the tools provided to create a collection of construction drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, detailed drawings, and sketches with the proper specs, symbols, and proportions.
