INTRODUCTION TO TECHNICAL DRAWINGS
ASSIGNMENT 3
In this assignment, it was group work where I had to group up with 4 of them to create a tiny house project. The site must be proposed by choosing the choices given from the Project Brief. Next, we had to choose the site location and where the chalet will be located, Followed by creating our own title block which has the logo of the company and the necessary details that had to be included in it. Then, we have to choose the materials that we will be using for the chalet. We also had to create a list of furniture that will be placed in assigned spaces from Ikea. .Finally, the technical drawings will be created in a selected scale and penned out with black ink.
PROGRESS
The proposal of the space had to be introduced first, then after getting the confirmation from Mr.Akmal, we continued with making the choices for the furniture and spaces that will be created by making many zoom meetings. We also discussed the type of roof that will be used as a group and created the site plan firstly, since we all have the same proposed space. I was the group leader of this project so i always wanted everyone to understand the decisions and always made a recap from each tutorial in our Whatsapp group.

OUTCOME
Finally, 5 pages of drawing were submitted with
1 page of the plan view of the tiny house project,
2 page of the elevation views of the tiny house project,
1 page of the site plan,
1 page of the sectional view of the tiny house project,
included with all the furniture and flooring.
The group findings and research for the site, house elements,flooring and furniture choices.

In this assignment, I learnt the main thing of technical drawing which is scale. I had a clear understanding of how the scale works and how scale drawings are created. This is a very important fact to learn and the drawings had to be pen out with black ink with line weight which was also something very new to be learnt.

The learning of material hatching, different types of lines used in drawings, and much more additional info's to create a complete scale technical drawing of a space is something very essential in architectural life and that was clearly taught by this assignment and from the help of our helpful tutor Mr.Akmal.

In this assignment, we had to do and discuss many things as a group. Since I was a group leader I had a lot of two-way communications with my group and this really helped me in my interpersonal skills which is a very important skill.
reflection
This assignment was a great introduction to the technical side of the drawing. It has given me a lot of trial and error experience to help me improve my lines, dimensions, and the detailing of drawing. Mainly, my skills in scales and inking drawings have been tremendously improved and my architectural letterings have also improved in this assignment. From this assignment, I learned a lot of new information about site plans and roof plans which has tremendously increased my knowledge in technical drawings. As a hold, I have a completer foundation level of understanding in technical drawing and have analyzed ,experienced, and mastered my basics of technical drawing.
